Yark is a small unstable nation located on Cold Island in Northern Europa. It was formerly apart of the Emu Empire and is known for it's hostility towards the Emu Empire and North Sea Federation.
Around early September of 2022, a Minecraft SMP which was the founding place and first conflict of Yark was created. During the SMP because of the hostile and exasperating personalities of the two founding Yark members, they decided to steal a horse owned by another member of that SMP. This small incident quickly escalated into all out war causing the server to split, with one of the factions formed being named Yark.
Following the first conflict Yark participated in, there was a long period of disarray between the two founding members of Yark, with scattered conflicts lost to time, Yark remained a disbanded nation until 21st of November 2023, in which they were fully integrated into the Emu Empire. After the defeat of Frien Hangout in The great Dodo war, Yark would finally be re-established and quickly decided to go to war with the Emu Empire as at the time the Emu Empire was inexpedience and small. Despite winning both EE-YK wars, due to the small size of Yark they essentially acted as a vassal state to the Emu Empire, but during wars they would be integrated into the Emu Empire only being a nation in name.

Following the diplomatic isolation of Yark, Tovarish Doggo decided to create to create a Yark wiki. However as he lacks the experience, this new wiki is a low quality imitation of the Emu Empire wiki. The sole page on the Yark wiki is a direct copy of an outdated version of the Emu Empire wiki, however they did add some additions to their copied wiki but even these new additions still mirror the Emu Empire's wiki. On top of this the Yark wiki still has links to the Emu Empire wiki, which only further exposes themselves. All this blatant copying and mimicking of the Emu Empire goes to show that even when isolated, Yark remains dependent on the Emu Empire.

Yark did not have a flag when it was founded in late 2022. For a time, due to it's disorganisation it existed without a flag or any national symbols. This would change during the first Emu-Yarko War, when Ayothepizzahere, a member of the Emu Empire, designed Yark's first flag, as he deemed it essential for documentation purposes. Sometime in 2024, Tovarish Doggo would attempt to create a new flag to stray away from the Emu Empire created one, however it would go through a few small redesigns before being adopted.

Yark's ideology contains elements of anarchism, communism and nazism. While Tovarish Doggo in the past has claimed that Yark has no formal leader it is clear that Tovarish Doggo holds de facto leadership over Yark. Yark also has no ranks, government roles or hierarchy, which as a result means members of Yark will sometimes act on their own which can lead to infighting or disorganisation. The only reason Yark continues to exist and it's members don't defect is because of their deep hatred towards the Emu Empire despite most Yark members being formerly members of the Emu Empire.

As Yark is aware that they are inferior when compared to the Emu Empire or North Sea Federation, they have begun to rely on propaganda which is exclusively targeted at the Emu Empire. They often rewrite and fabricate history to over exaggerate the role that Tovarish Doggo played in the Great Dodo War, The War For 1488 Shekels and the Campaign for Cooptopia. They have even gone as far as to claim that Mikoyann and PollosRollos have never been apart of the Emu Empire. Yark also often larps as nazis and often depicts the Emu Empire as ginger or African despite they themselves being that.
On the 21st of July 2025, Yark would embarrass themselves by attempting to intimidate Munchyolly into believing that the North Sea Federation's ship building world had been compromised by sending screenshots of their ships and stating "consider who u have on the whitelist". However only Munchyolly has access to this ship building world, furthermore all the screenshots were old and taken from the Emu Empire Secret Intelligence Service which Tovarish Doggo had access to when he was apart of the Emu Empire.
